About Gwen and Lyman
GWEN TENNEY was born and raised in Wyoming to a ranching and rodeo family. She spent many days traveling with her grandfather who was a well-rounded cowboy from brand inspecting to horseshoeing to rodeo contestant and judge. She moved to Arizona and later married her husband, Lyman, who also comes from a ranching and roping family. Gwen is no stranger to the arena and the cowboy way of life.
Because she has taught every age group, Kindergarten through college, and has raised two daughters as well as a son with Down syndrome, Gwen knows that all people have great value and unlimited potential. Combining her love for the cowboy way of life and the understanding that all people can achieve greatness when given the right tools, her overreaching goal is to inspire people to become great both in the rodeo arena and the arena of life.
Through years of study in Education, earning a Master's degree, as well as self-study in the field of mind development, Gwen has developed a certain kind of skillset to be able to genuinely challenge thinking in a supportive manner and help people remove the obstacles that keep them from going where they want to go.
Through her role in Tenney Training, Gwen helps adults and children to gain momentum on their path to achieving their goals by making dramatic improvements in their personal and competitive life.
LYMAN TENNEY was raised in a good home with good parents and 3 sisters who all wanted what's best for me. He believed he was living a pretty good life and that circumstances had a lot to do with my successes and failures in life. Lyman was taught that hard work and strong morals are the key to success.
He is so thankful to be raised by such a loving family and to be a part of it still. The people in his life set him up pretty well for success. Hard work, no doubt, is a great thing most of the time. Strong Christian morals and values are the key to a great life all the time.
Lyman lived, unbeknownst to himself, with a lack mentality program (which simply means that there are limits on you, and what you can have, or accomplish). He believed that a person must to trade time for money, (which means working an hourly job being paid by the hour). If a person worked hard and did right they would be promoted to a better position that would pay a better hourly wage or annual salary. He also was taught to be an entrepreneur, but didn't necessarily price the job for the actual value it brought to the customer. He quoted jobs based on the amount of money he believed he was worth according to how many hours it would take and the costs. He believed he was living a good life just like everyone else and that you had hard times and good times. BOY WAS HE WRONG!!!!!!!!!!
What changed was KNOWLEDGE and TRUE UNDERSTANDING that success is not determined by circumstances or conditions. Success is determined by YOU & ONLY YOU. We all know that, but we don't really believe it, at least that how it was for him.
Success, he discovered, is based on Universal Laws, therefore available to anyone. He has been studying and training in the field of mindset development and applying my knowledge to his personal life and to coaching others. It has been life changing! Now he knows what to do and how to do it to get the results he wants. Lyman's passion is to inspire people to learn about themselves and how they operate so they can accomplish an amazing life.
